I'm trying to find the schematic for a "Magnavox Power Transistor Stereo". It's a suitcase model portable stereo record changer with no radio.

It's a single PCB and was made in 1963

No luck with Sam's.

ModeL number glued to two places on the interior 2SC239.

The record changer was made in England. I am NOT lookng for anything on the the record changer.

I'm hoping I don't have to trace the pcb and draw my own schematic.

Thanks.

There will be a stamp or a sticker with the chassis model number on the chassis itself that you need to use for finding a schematic. The model number of the stereo means nothing as far as service literature is concerned. Good luck.

OK and Thnaks, I saw those and searched the interweb and Sam's, Still no joy.

Chassis Inked No.: 445841

Chassis Embossed into metal No.: 637880

Sam's customer service says those won't work.

I have scanned, but not closely examined, the little pcb for a number. Might it be on that?

There's an A505 amplifier in the '66 Beitmans (below), might help even if it's not exact. Sams for this is '64, about right.

Tom B.,
Thanks for the help. I doubt I would have found that anytime soon.
