I have a opportunity to buy a large lot of HIFI gear part of the lot is a Pilot SA 260 amp and a SP-260 preamp.
I can find lots of information and prices for 260 amp but I can not information and prices for the pre amp.
I have not seen the equipment the seller told they are good condition with Mullard and Telefuken tubes.
Does any one have any idea of the value of the preamp or were I could find more information?

The 260 was usually used with the SP210, could also be SP-216. I should have schematics for both. Never heard of SP-260.

A very desirable and feature-packed preamp with dual lighted meters, had one about 15 yrs ago and should have kept it. It's rarer than and every bit as good as a Fisher 400CX and the values may be comparable. The SA-260 stereo amp is also excellent, we had the smaller SA-232 6BQ5 amp, also a great performer. Check eBay "completed" for values.
