The museum I volunteer with has a few 5inch & 8 inch speakers & we were wondering if there were any wooden cabinets that we could make replicas in which to use those speakers? Does anyone have anything like that or can point us to info we could use to make a replica?
Google has led me in all kinds of directions this afternoon but none of them in the right direction. Maybe there weren't any such things?

We have a pr of likely to be ex-military speakers that consist of 5" full range speakers in gray painted aluminum cabinets, presumably of Navy provenance. It may be that other service branches used wood cabinets due to lack of a salt water environment.
