Yup.
Basic four chord turnaround, sometimes a four bar turnaround. Everyone likes familiarity in music.
Somewhere around here I have a list of all the (basically) four chord turnaround tunes I heard over a year or so of listening to an oldies station. It's a pretty long list.
I wouldn't even attempt a list of twelve bar blues tunes. It could nearly go into infinity!!

Still, once in a while, someone of a more recent rock star status will have a tune out they did in a four chord or bar turnaround and it does well.
Some chord progressions are just too good!!
