Does anyone have info on an OTR show with a host? Not just a stream or download, but someone who introduces programming like Greg Bell. To me, having someone introduce old time radio shows makes it feel more alive and interesting.

I know it's not quite the same but WFUV has four hours of OTR music on from
8 pm to midnight. The long time (30+ years!) host, Rich Conaty broadcasts from
Fordham University in the Bronx, NY. Great show with lots of 20's and 30's music,
no repeats and lots of music info and trivia.

There's also Andy Senior on the Radiola channel on the web. Also DJ'd 20's and 30's music
with lots of info, trivia and humor.

Don't know of a live host for OTR (non-music) shows. Good question...

In SoCal, we have a similar show, Chuck Cecil's "The Swinging Years" on KJAZ 88.1 FM, Saturday and Sunday mornings, 6:00 am to 10:00 am PST. They stream over the internet, too.

Listening to it now!

There's a Sunday night show in Colorado that has a live host...seem to recall there is one in New England, too...I'll see if I can dig them up and post here..
