My father worked at a local TV station in the 1950's and 1960's. He got surplus 10.5" audio tapes there and used them to transfer record albums to tape at home. They had been in storage for many years. Most had recordings, mainly music, but some were unused. I checked to see if anything was on them and at first it seemed like there wasn't. However, further into the tapes there were recordings, but at 15ips which made them unintelligible. Recently I was able to transfer them to digital files and used an audio editing program to get the correct speed.

Two of them had segments from the old radio show People are Funny with Art Linkletter which which seemed to have taken place in Berlin, Germany. The show ran from 1942-1960, but no idea what the date of this one was. But since you can hear a director saying "Scene/Take" before each part, they probably weren't shows recorded directly from the radio. The others just contained the opening, closing and commercial spots for the program.
