Those Old Radio Shows Return to CHML Nightly

Post by mojo55 »

OTR fans will be glad to hear that OTR is back every night on Hamilton's CHML AM-900. They are being
broadcast each weeknight from 12:00 midnight to 1:00 AM, every Saturday from 10PM to 1:00AM and
every Sunday night for 4 hours from 9:00PM to 1:00 AM. Enjoy!

Why do radio stations assume the only people who want to listen to OTR are insomniacs and night-watchmen? We had a station in Pittsburgh - AM 810 WEDO - that played them many evenings around 7...until they changed to COUNTRY MUSIC format - COUNTRY! - on August 3.

I listend as often as I could...tuned in the other night at Old Radio Theater time and heard crappy new country.

Rant over.

I doubt they are going to out it in prime time, they have more important stuff.

But overnight, they may get more listeners, because the station's reach is better. I forget what station, but I used to listen to OTR on a non-local station. Not an ootion if it had been daytine.
