FS: 1953 PYE P93 WU ( British) radio. 120 volts. $40

Another uncommon ( to the US ) British set. Its a medium sized 1953 PYE P93 WU with multiple bands including AM, SW, LW, and a few others that appear to be more localized. The set can either be run on 220 or 110 and came that way. As it is now its set for 110 and has a new cord and American plug.

The set works fine, all caps except 2 smaller value caps have been replaced. Its got a pretty good sound. Below is a video to see it play.

The finish is probably a 6 out of 10. The front is good but the top has some slight paint splatter and scratches. I buffed most of it out. I'd say more buffing would do it. The front grill cloth was replaced as the old one was trashed.

Anyhow, gotta' make room for yet another set I just bought, so $40 and she's yours!
