 Post subject: SOLD-FS: Restored Emerson 517 "Moderne" Radio *Reduced*

Up for sale is an electronically restored Emerson 517 radio. This radio has 5 tubes and covers the Am broadcast band. It has been completely recapped and works very well. The secondary of the second IF transformer has been bypassed with a 280 pf capacitor and a 94K ohm resistor, since it was open. Also, there is a small bit of 60 cycle hum in the radio, since the original center-tapped audio output transformer was bad, and was replaced with a non-CT one. This hum cannot be heard when tuning in a station. The black bakelite cabinet is in nice condition, with no cracks or breaks and very few scratch marks. The dial scale is slightly warped and has two small cracks in it. Other than that, the radio is in nice shape. I'm asking $50 for it + shipping from 02911.
