Silly me, I thought this style of fuse holder end cap would be easy to find:

I guess this fits a type 3AG (?) fuse. The photo shows a fuse inside the cap, but all I need is a cap (or two).

In case you're wondering, this is for a 1960s-era McIntosh C22 preamplifier.

I'll gladly pay retail price for this essential item!

Phil, there are at least two types in the configuration...spring in the cap or not?

They use to be everywhere. I had a bunch, but went looking for them a few years ago with no luck. must have grown legs. I just checked Ebay and all screw type.
