Hi All I need a good tuner for a Majestic (Grigsby Grunow) model 230A. Models 70 & 90 may use the same 5 gang tuner. The rotor suffers from swollen pot metal on many of these sets.
Thanks John

You can often 'fix' these bad tuning caps. I have ground off some of the bushing part to get clearance to shift the fins over , also you can re-align each stage as I recall. Not easy but can usually be done.

The rotor fins are cast into the pot metal, & therefore not moveable. It is not repairable or I would have already done so.
