I have a few 1940 Popular Mechanics articles that involve radio construction. Rarely did they specify part numbers, but on a few, like this one, they specified the loop, if cans and osc coil.

All of them have a prefix of DX- followed by a four digit number.

I've checked Miller, Meissner, National...nothing matches.

Any ideas what manufacturer this nomenclature might be from?

Bill
