Where can you obtain the metal plate caps for the tops of tubes such as the 6A8,6K7,etc. I've seen the ceramic type for sale but haven't found anyone that sells the plain metal ones.

He's a member here and has mentioned before that he stocks these.

I find it impossible to find the old cheap kind of grid caps for purchase.
I make mine from sparkplug terminals.

Thanks Dale, checked out some lawn mower spark plug clips and they'll do the job.

Fuse clips - the single ones intended to mount on a pc board - also work well.

btw....I think you mean grid caps, not plate, for the tubes you mentioned.
