Hi everyone. The tuning part does not move, When using the knob the dial moves appx 2 inches but not the tuner. I have tried every lubricant that I know of. It appears to be very clean but I can't budge it no matter what I try. The FM tuner and dial work fine. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cec

Do you know where it binds? This tuner has an adjustment screw in back. Loosen the nut and adjust screw to center tuner plates.

That's a variable capacitor. Looks like a German radio that it's attached to.
