Good Afternoon to All,

This will be the first year that my wife (of 48 years) will be home alone for Thanksgiving. All our children are grown and out on their own. So what do We have to give Thanks for, SGT Brian USMC Ret, with our oldest grandchildren (Joellen and Blake), SGT Jeremy USMC Ret and his wife, Chief Brett, his Wife and our two youngest Grandchildren (Ben and Rally) and lastly, Our Daughter Jillian, her husband and our soon to be youngest Granddaughter, due in February. Turkey is in the oven, Snacks made for the Football games. And a big bottle of our favorite wine ready to go. So, from both of Us to All of You.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Poor guy looks cold. Invite him in and warm him up. I'd say 325 degrees for three and a half hours should do it.

Had a nice Thanksgiving yesterday, as usual with my "secretary" and her family. I got overstuffed. I brought
Texas Caviar, which turned out great except that the pimentos were an inferior grade ... I should have used canned
mild poblano pepper. But my mother preferred the pimento, and so do I.

Oh yes ... in the NOT mild category: the grandfather brought one of those $9 apiece tortilla chips "One Chip Challange".
They come packaged in a coffin shaped box. Several of us did eat some bits of it. I ate about 1/50 of it. A couple of others ate 1/50 to 1/30. The guy that brought it ate 1/15 or so. They are made with Carolina Reaper peppers and blue dye (so you can't cheat if you post your trial on TikTok.)

It was very hot, but the tiny amount I ate was nowhere near as hot as the hottest (bigger) bite I ate in India. The experience was fully gone in about 10 minutes.

She is indeed a happy dog, anticipating after-dinner plate licking.
