I'm not really one anymore for bakelite radios but I would make an exception for that Zenith. 50 TO 3000's, seriously??

Initially 54 to be exact, but there were a couple of 1000s and 1 7000.

Ah, that's where they all went!

I had a friend who once decided to collect RCA Radiola 60s, I can't remember exactly how many he amassed, but it was quite a few!

It's not really an antique, but a ham friend gave me a Ten-Tec Omni V transceiver that has weak receive; he thinks that a nearby lightning strike did it in. Another item for the massive Restoration Pile! I'm suspecting a blown FET in the front-end.

I'm like the shoemaker who goes barefoot; my own projects pile up, while I do work for everyone else.....

A small Father's Day gift to myself-a couple of cheap consoles.

An 11-tube Philco 112, missing the knobs. Always did like the Norman Bel Geddes cabinet designs.

And a 10-tube RCA 262 with a dial that hasn't turned blood red.

Both need a little veneer repair, but for $15 each, who's complaining?

Happy Father's Day, everyone.

Nice finds Dan! :D

I always felt the 262 needed an eye above the dial.
Retrofit kits were available, even from RCA, but I can't bring myself to cut a hole in mine...

Got this from My R & D lab today. Seems no one there likes CRT scopes. Tektronix 2246, 4 channel 100 Mhz.

Here is my "find" for some restoration work and some building. A Buffalo 15M bench drill press. I got it and a friend got a radial arm saw basically for the price of gas. This was made in Buffalo, NY in the 1950s. I had to change the power cord. I went to pick it up, expecting it to be about 75 pounds. Turns out it is about 210 pounds... It has a Powr-Krft 1/2HP Montgomery Ward motor painted to match. Works great. He threw in the cart too.

That is the sexiest drill press I've ever seen. I love it!

That drill press looks almost like new! Great find you've got there.

Won this 1939 Zenith 5-S-319 at a local auction for a total of $27.
