I can bring up the links to Antique Radio Forums Index and click on them but a lot of times it gives this notice.

I've had some odd Google responses as well. Also, along those lines. some odd Emails to subscribed topics saying there "is no content" .... close Gmail, open it again, and everything is fine.

The cynical side of me blames data mining and targeted advertising. The engineering side of me says computers can screw up in any number of miraculous ways.

I've not tried that with Duckduckgo dot com, but I use that exclusively now so as to avoid any tracking of my searches.
Not that my searches has any nefarious reasons behind them.

Are you searching from Google.com, or from the ARF "Search" page?

Try this one with google:

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=8&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiJ2tDCrvTiAhWzFzQIHaiFAj8QFjAHegQIBRAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.antiqueradios.com%2Fforums%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ft%3D3198&usg=AOvVaw2sIp1TEJ_-lH97WTbNudZY

Then I typed in: jackson 636 with Antique Radio Forum search bar which redirected to google search with several links. Each link I clicked on came up with the same description.
I even went so far as to clean out all my cookies. No difference. I'm wondering if there no longer searching older posts? Even though they show a link?

Regarding the search page here at arf
Use the google site search - top box only.
The other search features on that page do not work correctly!

The top box uses/employs the google search engine to search within these forums.
Use inverted commas for exact phrase.
example: "one tube radios"
results→ https://www.google.com/search?q=%22one+ ... radios.com

------------

For smarter cookies... :)

Chronological search for heathkit one year back only! Past year... Sorted by date
http://www.google.com/search?q=site:antiqueradios.com+heathkit&tbo=1&tbs=qdr:y,sbd:1

Chronological search for heathkit indefinite time period. Sorted by date
http://www.google.com/search?q=site:antiqueradios.com+heathkit&tbo=1&tbs=qdr:2y,sbd:1

Chronological search for heathkit one month back. Past month... Sorted by date
http://www.google.com/search?q=site:antiqueradios.com+heathkit&tbo=1&tbs=qdr:m,sbd:1

For exact phrase, use quotation marks, e.g. "one transistor" Indefinite time period
http://www.google.com/search?q=site:antiqueradios.com+"one%20transistor"&tbo=1&tbs=qdr:2y,sbd:1

Sorry!
I tried removing ARF cookies, changed from Firefox to Internet Explorer. Click on some of the posted links you provided and no Change.
I did use the quote marks on each side of one tube radios, to no avail.
Have any of you tried those links? without a problem, if so Maybe Windows 10 is quirky?
I even tried using the way-back machine and all I got were the time periods that ARF was scanned, starting in 2013. But couldn't go any further.
after posting this I went directly to Google search from my browser and typed in "one tube radio" (didn't work) HOWEVER I did a copy and paste of "one tube radio" from our topic and It worked What the heck? Anyway Thank you all ! As Sargent Schultz would say "Very Inter--esting"!

Still the same problem.
Well I guess for now I will have to bide my time, maybe it will clear itself up, Who knows?
Edit follows:
OH! OH!
I did it again, Stupid-Stupidly-Stupidest
You aren't going to believe this one.
I thought if I didn't want to have so many pages to go through, I would just see the last three months worth.
WHICH I DID!!
That's why I kept getting those repeated message's

So It wasnt Google at all, It was ARFs instructions from Me!
From My Profile in the My User control Panel.

Heres the Changes I just made:
Go to Profile-board Preferences-Edit Display Options

-----
Display images within posts: Yes No

Glad that you got it sorted Cliff.

I never knew that those settings/options existed!
I've been running barefoot here at arf since day one.

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission.
