Swap Meet

AZARC will be holding a swap meet on Saturday December 2nd 2017. The swap meet will start at 9am and will conclude at 12 noon. Selling is reserved for paid members of AZARC and can start setting up at 8am.

Donation Auction:
The cost of storage for all of Mr. Fisher's donation has been quite a bit more expensive than the board had estimated. Therefore, we will have a donation auction. So, all you generous members, please bring a radio, radio related items, or anything you think our members would like to bid on for our donation auction.

Special Event:

Free Give Away to the first 60 members:

The generosity of Mr. Art Fisher continues as we have, from his donation, at least 60 banana boxes packed with everything radio related along with test equipment, tube testers, radio parts, books, and general radio related items that we will give to the first 60 members who sign up for our December 2nd meet.

The Club will place 60 banana boxes and 120 radio related items on tables lining the walls, on both sides of our swap meet indoor air conditioned room. Each box will be numbered 1 through 60. When you register you will place a ticket with your name into a jar. At 9:00am, we will start drawing the names, 1 through 60, and the first person will receive the box #1 and two radio related items from behind it. We will move on until all 60 names are drawn.

Caveat: We can only handle 60 boxes and 120 additional radio related items, so we can only provide 60 members with this give-away opportunity. If you sleep in, you lose! Please don't touch or try to open any of these boxes, cabinets, or equipment until all the names are called and we give you further instructions. Everyone will open their boxes and view the items behind the boxes at the same time. In order to be one of the 60 people awarded, you must pledge that you will be responsible for your box and equipment. You can sell all of the contents, sell part of the contents, swap all or part of the contents, or give all or part of the contents as a gift to someone. We ask that you honor the pledge and not leave any of the items behind or place any of the items into the church dumpster.

From Interstate 17
Exit Glendale Avenue. Travel east to 15th Avenue. Turn right on south 15th Ave. The church will be on the south west corner of 15th ave and Maryland Ave. You can enter the property from 15th Ave or Maryland Ave. Proceed to the back side of the property by the basket ball court. The swap meet will take place in the Burns Hall.
