Wisconsin Antique Radio Club Swap Meet
http://warci.org/

General Meet Information
There is no charge for admission!

Please note the later start time!

Doors open at 7:00 AM for setup. The flea market starts at 8:00 AM, announcements are held at 10:30 AM followed by the donation auction and free pizza (usually around 11:00). Each meet will vary slightly, so check out the monthly flyer for more information!

As typical of most swap meets, the items are for sale by individual collectors, and most are one-of-a-kind. So for best selection (and the best deals), BE EARLY! But please stay around and get to meet some of the club members. These swap meets are a great way to connect with other local collectors that share your interests. By socializing at the meets you can find others that may have what you are looking for, radios & parts, people that can service your radios, and you can make some good friends.

Swap meet spaces are $7 for WARCI members, and $10 for non-members. Tables will be provided for indoor use only and are first-come, first-serve.

Address:
Knights of Columbus, 1800 S. 92nd Street, West Allis, WI 53214

Jim

Depending on weather. I am thinking of coming up with a bunch of cathedrals.

How does the size of the meet compare with an ARCI indoor meet?

Thanks

I think some of our winter meets are bigger, or at least they seem so. I think we had more sellers at our January meet last year than the ARCI meet had last month. Maybe Nick will be able to give our seller count from last year, my notes aren't handy.

Last year's attendance was great, we were almost out of space. We had 21 sellers with one or more tables a piece. When we did a visible headcount at 8:30 a.m. we had 63 people in the building. I'm looking forward to another great meet!

I just looked at pics from the ARCI swap and without a full room pic its hard to say for sure. But it looks to me that the WARC swap space is about the same maybe a bit longer. IIRC all tables had stuff on them. I thought it was good for a mid-winter swap.

How about we co-ordinate a tour of each other's houses and point out radios we want to sell but don't have the means or ambition to lug to swaps.

Take pictures on your phone and bring them to the meet. Or maybe a spot on the website, isn't there free classifieds?

I'm planning some sales for late spring through the summer. Will be posted lots of places, including emails to WARCI club members via our president's bulletins.

Unfortunately the weather limited sellers. It was about 40% full. Seemed like people were selling items though. I would expect pictures to be on the club website soon.
