Thanks Stan and Alan for pointing out the date error.

The auction is Friday evening, May 10th. It will be held in the White Room at Kutztown - the normal auction location.

The items for the auction are scheduled to arrive on May 4th.

Sorry for the confusion.

We just finished the set up this morning and our backaches are telling us so...!!! A very nice lot of table radios both tube and transistor also arrived. I saw 3 catalins, too. There are a few big consoles... A S-C monster, a Philco 116, a sweet Silvertone 2 speaker job with CLOCK, and a monster RCA. Of particular interest is a home brew superhet with a copper lined cabinet... too bad it became a mouse house. Lots of boatanchors, too!!! Auction starts at 5, preview from 4 on.

Jim

Will the auction be led by a professional auctioneer? (i.e. will this be slow and painful or move at an exciting clip)

Gavel will be in the hands of Col. Pete Grave, well known amongst Kutztown regulars, who’s been auctioneering for the DVHRC for over 20 years.

DVHRC has greatly improved the speed of the auction, they now have a continuous flow of items ready to go under the gavel and Pete does a great job as auctioneer.
If it runs late it will only be due to the number of nice items to sell.
