Particularly dangerous to berry bushes, grape vines, and fruit trees.

We definitely don't want those little critters here in the Fingerlakes wine country.

I will have a van full of all your 'regular' restoration needs such as knobs, small hardware like binding posts, set screws, etc, capacitors, bulbs, power cords, lubes and cleaners, etc. Box lots of tubes and individual ones. Also will have my usual assortment of whatever I can grab and fit. Look for my big orange banner hanging overhead my booth in the nearest pavilion to the buildings. Look for wife Leann's bright hair... usually blue or magenta.

Will Peter W be there with the Clinic this time? I have a semi-basket case AA5 I'd like to consult about.

Thanks,

Yes, Peter will be there, hopefully with pyrotechnics and Single Malt for the Friday Night Frolics too.

Great - thanks! I need a knob for it, so I'll stop by your table too.

I'll see everyone there. I'll be at the Antique Radio Forum booth #444.

Safe travels all!

I will be sad to miss Terry. Give him and his wife my best.

I saw those strange moth looking things a year ago. Took a couple photos as I'd never seen them before.
I didn't know they were an invasive species...

They're more like a grass hopper in that they don't "fly" so much as jump and then glide. Been trying to kill as many of them as I can, and if I approach one it will take off, land a few yards away. They will do this a few times in a row and then get too exhausted to take off again and that's when its easy to step on them.

Its probably just a matter of time before the whole east coast is infested with them, particularly since this part of PA has been redeveloped like crazy in recent years to build warehouses & distribution centers. All those trucks & semi trailers sitting outside in heavily infested areas are going to spread the problem out across the whole country.

I'll be there as a seller this time. Look for me at table 653. I'll have some restorable AA5s, with and without clocks, some nice solid state table radios, some test equipment, a Zenith console and a few other items. I'll be putting in some time at the club table and helping out with the auction too. See you there.

Look for me at booth 550, within spitball range of Kirk (Old Restorer) ;)

All kinds of antique radio parts, especially capacitors.
Over 9,000 caps in stock with the BEST prices at Kutztown!!

Gosh Dummer!!!

Makes me wonder if I should do this show NEXT year. I did MARC Extravaganza in Lansing for 15 years. All I brought was TUBES. Nobody uses tubes, do they?
A Safari van and a trailer for tables and I could bunk with Kirk! I'm sure he'd share the blanket. "Course, I could always bring the dog. September ain't more than a ONE dog night! :D

Three pages, It looks like a BIG event and I saw this post days after the event. I think it started on 9/20/2019 and today is 9/24.
In past years I have seen the name Kutstown mentioned but never a state or city where the event is held.
I guess that it is so big they don't need to advertise. Table numbers in the 600+ range - WOW!
But here in lower slobbovia we are isolated and impoverished.........
I hope y'all had fun.
Pat

If you search "Kutztown Antique Radio" it will come right up. :D

Kutztown PA is a small college town situated directly between Reading PA and Allentown PA.
The radio show is on the south side of town at Renningers Farmers Market, 740 Noble St.

I hope you can make it sometime! it is WELL worth it! :D

Looking at the 2019 slide show, there were no Kirk sightings, very disappointing :(
