Yes, we're on the same daylight savings time as Ohio. Indiana is now considered to be permanently on Eastern Time.

Michael, is it necessary to reserve a table for the inside sales or is it a first come first serve?

First come first served. We've never had to reserve tables. Plenty of room and plenty of tables though most people prefer to set up outside. Inside is nicely air conditioned and that's where the contests are held. It's more for in case of rain, the reception room should be large enough to accommodate everybody.

Been doing a lot of travel lately and will likely have to miss this meet. However I might be able to make the CARS meet on Aug 7th. Hope to see some of the IHRS folk there!

Got everything I am willing to sell all lined up and ready to go. This will be my first time to this meet so hoping to meet alot of ARF members there. Its a long drive from Toledo and Ill be leaving around 3:30 in the morning to get there in time to setup. Too damn cheap to get a hotel room, besides we don't get off work until late in the afternoon.

This meet was beautiful! Nice park setting, amazing weather, just right! Pretty good turnout too! Though, we had to deal with a group of bicycle riders who based their starting point in the same parking lot we were using.

Here are a few photos I took while there.

Afterwards, I went with a friend to an amazing burger place called Shake Shack! It was delicious! If I had anything to compare the burgers with it would be Culvers, but definitely different and darn good!!!!

Man, Steve---you got me in the first two pics and it didn't even break your camera ! Were you selling or just "browsing" ?

Was good to visit with radio friends I hadn't seen in over a year...

Thanks for the photos, Steve. I hope everyone had a good time. I wish I could have been there, but it was simply not possible for me.

Yes, it was a nice small meet with a variety of goodies for sale. I sold a few and didn't buy one single item. The wife was surprised but I was kinda bummed. I was looking to purchase a radio from the sellers stock in picture #7 but by the time I got back down there he had already left.

Rats, I completely forgot about this. I have so much stuff to get rid of, and I keep missing nearby meets. Sigh.

Well then, don't forget our last meet for this year at Greenfield, Indiana, October 9, 2021. The second weekend is usually a beautiful, crisp fall day. We may wind up auctioning off two collections there, we'll see. Lots of books, parts, tubes, and test equipment along with mostly prewar radios.

Swap meets there in the Midwest are apparently much better than the one I attended in western Washington last weekend. Most attendees just sat around BS-ing with their buddies at their tables and only a few seemed to come around to check out what was available at other tables. Pretty unlikely that I'd waste the prep time and 3 hours (round trip) driving to that one again.

Hey Mike,

Is the Greenfield meet a "for-sure" unless this C**** ordeal gets out of control again ???
