The Central Ohio Antique Radio Association (COARA) is pairing up with the Indiana Historical Radio Society (IHRS) for a fall antique radio swap meet which will be held at the Springwood Park Pavilion, Springwood Park, Richmond, Indiana on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

Richmond is located next to the Indiana/Ohio border.

7AM: Outdoor Setup.
9AM: Pavillion will open for indoor setups. Only 20 large tables will be available for indoor setups, so it's first come, first serve.

9:30AM; Popular Vote Contest Setup.
10:AM to 12:00 Noon; Vintage Radio Evaluation. Bring a radio for condition and value estimates.
11:30AM; Popular Vote Results Announced
12:00 Noon; Donation and Consignment Auction of Vintage Radios and Radio Related Items.

The Auctions
All auction buyers will be issued a bidding card at the registration desk.
Proceeds from the donation auction will be shared equally between IHRS and COARA.
Important: Donated items not sold will be removed by the owner of the equipment. The sale dollars will be collected immediately following the donation auction.

Consignment Auction
Owners of radios in the consignment auction will register the item(s) to be sold. When sold to the highest bidder, the money will be collected by the IHRS treasurer. 10% of the sales will benefit the IHRS and COARA equally. The dollar amount of the sale, minus 10%, will be sent to the seller within two weeks by way of an IHRS check.

This fall swap will give members of three local Ohio radio clubs (COARA, Spark, and CARS) which are closely located to Richmond and only conduct one swap meet each per year, an opportunity to attend and participate in one more final swap meet before the year is over. Hopefully this year well exceed the size of the 2019 donation auction we had and bring some much-appreciated monetary funds to the coffers of the COARA and IHRS. If you have any vintage radios and radio related items, vintage parts and components, just stuff that you've accumulated over the years but have decided that you'll never do anything with or have any use for, bring it to the auction so that others may be able to acquire them and possibly put them into good use. Clean out you closets, basements, garages, attics, and bring them to the donation auction. It may be your last chance to do some real fall cleaning untill next year.
