Thanks, Steve for posting and Curtis for linking.
I listened to the song several times on Amazon Music, the Echo dot speaker. I will eventually plug the echo dot into one of my radios to hear it thru a proper speaker.
I watched the video Now and Then with the sound off, then watched the documentary with the sound off, a Beatle backwards way which may or may not be appropriate.
There is a serious spelling mistake in the sub-titles of the documentary where Paul says that the passing of George in 2001 "took the wind out of our sales". The word is "sails" don't you know?
Was this the work of an intelligent robot?
It is truly amazing what they were able to create in the studio with that old cassette tape.
I find the flashbacks are really fun and we see footage never shown before.
I didn't know George played a lap steel, have always pictured him with an electric guitar held upright, playing bottleneck style. Now when I hear "My Sweet Lord" I can easily picture the lap guitar part, of course that makes sense.
We heard so much music on radio in those days but seldom saw a performance except on, in my case, B&W TV.
I won't criticize the song. It's an enjoyable love song after several listens.
