Huh? I'm sorry to disappoint you, but Taylor Swift isn't paying me anything. I simply enjoy listening to the singer's music, and nothing else.

I was listening to Taylor Swift's 'Lover' vinyl edition last night on my 1959 V-M 1551 stereo changer. Actually, I started hearing pops and skipping on one particular song ('Miss Americana'). Well, I cleaned the stylus and the LP, but nothing changed. Afterwards, I changed the stylus, but I was still hearing pops and skipping on that one particular song. I thought: "What's going on here? I never had the problem before". This morning, I played that same Taylor Swift 'Lover' vinyl on my 1963 Zenith MT-1959H stereophonic wood console, and there were still pops and skipping on that one particular song.

After a little pondering, I think that there were two opened Taylor Swift 'Lover' vinyl editions in my inventory, and one of them was the one that I gave to my mother. Actually, the one that I gave to my mother had the same identical problem, and that was why I purchased another Taylor Swift 'Lover' vinyl edition for her.

When I return home tonight, I'll check into this, but I know that I'm going to find another open Taylor Swift 'Lover' vinyl edition in my inventory. After this, I'm going to have to label that defective Taylor Swift 'Lover' vinyl edition so I won't encounter this problem again.

Edit: Yep, I checked it out tonight, and that was the case all right. I'll be sure to label that defective album.

Edit: Defective album so labeled. Actually, it is a two disc album with the pink disc being defective, and not the blue one. I'll just keep the album around for spare parts (the album, sleeves and the blue disc).

The few times I bought a really bad pressing, I just took it back to the record store. The warp on a Woody Guthrie album was awful. But at best it was $15 forty years ago.

The defective Taylor Swift 'Lover' vinyl album that I first gave to my mother wasn't unwrapped and played until a month or so later. By that time, it was well past the warranty date.

It's hard (if not impossible) to find fault with a distinguished and world renowned singer such as Peggy Lee.

Currently I'm listening to my rock classics and "Dear Mr. Fantasy" is playing. The song before it was "Battles of Evermore" and the next track up is "Silver, Blue & Gold" I almost always have music playing and I listen to everything from Mozart to Metallica.
