I stop in this forum off and on (I wonder who died this month...sounds really bad) and thought I would say hello, and of course ask the question as titled.

I first heard Gentle Giant when I was in 6th grade and was hooked. I am in my fifties now and still listen to then all the time. I think I appreciate them so much because I have always played a musical instrument, changing instruments several times over the years.

I used to hear them on a local AOR/Progressive music station in Grand Rapids, MI back in the 70s...I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but I enjoy them. Youtube is your friend. Speaking of that format, I like King Crimson...

I feel that way about King Crimson, ironically.

The sister of one of my ham buddies was (and might still be) Ray Shulman's girlfriend. The next time that I see him, I'll have to ask.

I did get to meet Ray, back in the late 1970s. If anyone has one of their albums, and the name "tanner" is mentioned in the liner notes, it's her.
