A guy that seemed to have been born out of his time, and a very under rated musician and singer IMO.

I first saw him on SNL back in the 70's I would imagine. I have two of his records. Just a fun, different kind of music that you definitely had to be in the right mood for.

I saw Leon Redbone live about 15 years ago along with Leo Kottke.
Two very class acts although very different styles.
Was thinking the same thing about Leon Redbone. He performed a music style and genre from a different age.

Yes...I recall that SNL show. There was speculation at the time that Mr Redbone was actually
Frank Zappa incognito.

I've been a bit of a fan of his for a while, I first discovered him through a friend in the late 70's. I liked his old style music, the Bud and Geo ads, and Frosty...
