I'll go first: The vinyl LP by Julie London, 'Around Midnight'. Love that song, 'Black Coffee'. Classic stuff.

You might remember Julie London from a show in the 70's called 'Emergency!'. She played the nurse at the hospital.

She was a singer and a feature actress in the late '50's, and married Jack Webb (Dragnet & Badge 714).

My two favorite records of hers are "Cry Me A River", and "Blues In The Night".

I'm listening to a '50's station (I know, how surprising) from the internet radio in my den, broadcasting to the receiver here in the computer room. Right now they are playing, "Don't You Just Know It" (Huey Piano Smith and the Clowns), from 1958.

What is the web address of the station you are listening to? I keep trying to find a really good 1950's internet station, particularly if they include a fair amount of Doo-Wop.

The internet radio doesn't display addresses, just station names. This one is, "Got Radio, Forever Fifties". Right now they are playing "Crying in the Chapel" by the Orioles. Last tune was "Lonely Street" by Andy Williams. Nice mix of pop, R&R, Country, and Doo Wop, late '40's to early '60's.
