My dear sister and one of my nieces got me set up to watch this almost 8 hour three part doc on The Beatles Get Back from 1969. It was amazing to see how they did their song writing and what would be considered primitive today on making a documentary/movie/live concert. The original plans all fell flat and they were disappointed with the end result and the films and audio tapes were put in storage for 50 years. It was interesting to see the youtube videos that Peter Jackson had to do to get these tapes and films and restore them, and also to be able to take over a hundred hours of mono 1/4 inch audio tapes and separate the instruments and voices.
