Hi everyone, I stumbled into a television set that I believe to be the television mentioned in the subject. I’m looking for more information on this television. I’m curious as to how much it was worth back then and now. If they are an item that is common today. Just any piece of knowledge is helpful. I plan on keeping this beauty as a conversation starter so I would like to be knowledgeable on the subject. Please help!

It would be helpful if you could provide a picture or more importantly the model number.
As for original price, try searching newspapers and magazine ads of the period.
Unrestored, depending on the condition, $ 20 to 100 ( assuming it is a black and white TV).
It also depends on whether the picture tube is good.
Anything that old must be restored before it is turned on or damage can result.

Most but not all Sears Silvertone TV's of that vintage were manufactured by Warwick, which Sears had a major stake in. Some of their stuff was decent quality, although most was designed to sell at a price point that made it appear competitive with major brands. On the whole, there doesn't appear to be very much collector interest in Sears Silvertone TV's.

Your set is a '58 so not likely a perfect match, but FYI here's the page from the 1959 Sears catalog:

I'll bet that it is one of those vertical chassis sets.
