Little update for everyone, I cleaned and reinstalled the tuner, what a difference! The sound is much cleaner as well. Here is Sarah Vaughan performing Broken Hearted Melody.

A true mid-60s looking classic. High school era for me.

A few years ago I saw a nice looking New Vista small cabinet Color tv at a distance in an antiques place. Heart dropped though when I got a closer look and, no chassis or picture tube.

That's why I told a guy about his 1960s era Maganavox TV-Stereo combo on another thread, when he said he removed the TV that it would be best to put it back in, it's worth more with the TV in place then being just another combo unit but with a big hole in the center. Then there is the crackhead on a regional C.L site that thinks his off brand one is worth $6500 (no I did no misread it, it's been re-posted twice, and flagged by me twice!)
