Is there any RCA experts that can breakdown the model number? I think is a 68 model but that is all I know ... would love to find a brochure or specs on it .. no idea what the stereo section is rated for .. found a 67 brochure on line and the stereo specs start at 40 watts per channel all the way up to 300...any info is appreciated.
Thanks

If you want to find a schematic for this set, you will need to go by the chassis number. That is generally stamped on the back of the chassis. You may or may not find everything in one Sams. Sometimes the radio will be in a different Sams. TV chassis numbers often start with KCS for black & white and CTC for color.

The radio chassis numbers start with "RC"; they were using that designation before WWII. Back in the 1960s, manufacturers came up with wildly optimistic numbers for amplifier output wattage on consumer equipment, using terms like music power and peak music power. These numbers are far greater than the actual output in RMS watts.
