I'm sharing this as I was wondering if I was alone in this, but I find this set to be one of the prettiest Philco's I have seen. I saw it FB MP and it really loved its look.I don't know anything about this series of TV's but the design department got it right if no one else did.

Yes, Miss America sets were Philco's top of the line, back in the day. This article has some info about the marketing tie to the Miss America pageant, as well as some restoration notes:

The cabinet on mine is slightly different than the one listed on FB. It is a great performer!

Yep, I have the brasilian version of it, "Philco do Brasil".
It is blond and had doors to hide the TV.
Very interesting are 4 speakers and a cable remote.
The door handles are looking indian styled.
The bezel of the CRT is made of awful plastic!!!! Mine is cracked into pieces and I need a new
one or shall decide for a german from any parted out TV set, which looks similar.
