This 7 band portable has been at the back of my bench for way too long. It had mostly electrolyic cap needs but the results of too much exploring means that a few leads have broken off and a schematic would really make my day. The owner has had it since new and being an old guy like myself, he is anxious to get it going. We are both "from the tube era" to add perspective. No luck online so far finding even a listing for this model of radio. Thanks for reading.
Gordon.

Does it look anything like the one at the top of the pic? I bought one of those back in the 60's and it worked well - I have the schematics for it - it's a Nivico JVC FA6000T.

Hello majoco, yes, it looks a lot like your picture with the exception of no handle on top and no map board on the back. This receiver is strictly AM and covers the standard AM band as well as six short wave ranges covering most of the SW broadcast bands. I will attempt to send the photos that I just took. You can tell this receiver has had a hard life. There was no speaker inside when I opened it and the output transformer was dangling on its leads. The pp outputs I have replaced with newer transistors and most of the electrolytics have been replaced.
