My brothers Sony ICF SW7600G & SW7600GR radios were in storage for a very long time and he just recently tried to turn them on to see if they still worked and none of them worked.
Ebay used to sell electrolytic capacitor replacement kits for these Sony radios but now for some odd reason they only sell a cap kits for the older original Sony SW7600..Does anyone know who sells a electrolytic capacitor replacement kit for a Sony SW7600G & SW7600GR multi-band radios ?
UPDATE - I told my brother to turn them on for while and then turn them off for a while several times throughout the day and finally the SW7600GR started working. I know that since the radios are 20 + years old there is a good chance that some of the SMT caps may have to be replaced...
We will keep you updated on my progress.

Since the USPS shipping costs have increased so much I thought that I may save some money buying a cap kit because to order just a few caps the shipping will be close to $9 US dollars.
I really enjoyed watching your youtube videos last night. I watched (.Poor Mans Active Probe, 1000 watt 144 MHz amp and Blackout in Kyiv. What kind of radio were you using in the Blackout in Kyiv video ? (It looked cool)
$1 sounds good, but unfortunately we have to pay $6 to $9. and sometimes even more. The USPS prices are extremely high because the USPS is poorly managed.
Thank you for sharing the links, I will watch some of your videos later this evening..
