Hi,
Anyone have one? I need to replace the cord so I need one. Even a crude homebrewed one would be better then what I have noW!m I either find one or there is going to be a lot of trial, error. cussing or maybe good luck.
BAMA has one for a 25. Since they are pretty similar radios, does anyone know if they are the dame?
Thanks
Carl

Carl,

I have both but I have never had to restring the dial cord in either. I would take a close look at the SX-25 manual and compare the layout to your set. They are VERY similar sets but the split 4 gang versus combined 3 gang of the SX-25 vs SX-24 respectively might create some differences as could the different orientation of some of components like the IF transformers.

The SX-24 was also produced as the military R-205 but I don't have a manual for it.
