Hi guys my latest problem with my Farnsworth bt600 is broke dial cord. Is there any kind of string that I could buy at lowes that would be suitable for replacing the dial cord ? I do have the spring or will I have to buy it from a antique radio supply house. Thanks in advance for the help.

I've had great results with SpiderWire Stealth-Braid 65lb fishing line. Part # SCS65G-125. I got it at a local Walmart.

I would have thought that the purveyors of vintage radio parts would have the correct stuff?
Much less hassle: No error.
