Hi,

The VFO zero beat output on my 5100B is almost non-existent. I replaced a bad 6BH6 and both weak 6BJ6s in the VFO & oscillator, respectively. No improvement. Needless to say, I'm not much of a diagnostician. I"m hoping someone else has had the same problem and found the source.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks & 73,

Steve

Hello Steve.

If you ask in the Vintage Communications Receivers and Transmitters forum, Rodger WQ9E may have some advice for you.
