First Sparton I have worked on. When replacing caps I always cut the leads off right at the cap and then try to remove the remaining wire. Most mfrs wrap the lead tight and Philco wraps the lead around as few times. Sparton just bends the lead in an L shape. You heat the joint and push the lead out, clean the hole and insert new component.
