Hi all. I am attempting to restore a Philco 40-95 farm radio. I have worked on many electronics but this is my first vintage tube radio. I have the schematic that shows a single 10mf/150V electrolytic capacitor. I have it pulled apart and I only see one single 40mf/150V electro cap. Is there a reason for this? Did someone replace this and botch it? Should I go with the schematic values?

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like the last guy used what he had, for the repair. A 10 would be correct, but you could go upto a 22
which is the next standard size. The same voltage or higher is what you wanr , also.
