I finally realized the speaker grill cover on this may not be original, am I wrong? I've looked at other pictures and haven't seen this grill cloth on other ones. However, there aren't many pictures of the speaker doors open on the internet.

Hope you find other examples.

Dang, I was hoping there were a couple of variations and that this was reeeal gold haha. Well, it looks OK to me so I don't think I'll get in a hurry about changing it but I'm going to keep an eye out.

Pretty sure my Windsor has the same grille cloth (gold floral) as yours. I’ll look when I get home.

Hate to break it to you westcoastjohn, but that’s not even a real magnavox. That’s a magnavox chassis stuffed into a gutted cabinet. Looks like maybe an old Silvertone or airline cabinet. You can still see the cutout where the old escutcheon was...

Yes, you cloth is correct for the Windsor. Mine came from the son of the original owner and has never been touched...

I do have a Magnavox Regency Symphony that has a similar style mesh over the cloth... also an untouched original...

It is odd that some internet pics show the Windsor having metal mesh grill over the cloth. What are the odds that there where diffenent options for grill openings/cloth? Also what are the odds of a Windsor in Texas and one in South Dakota, though mine was originally from New York State and then brought to South Dakota after the passing of the original owner by his son, having the same floral cloth? Has to be because it was an original option....

I will delete that post as it's not helpful.
