 Post subject: Mohawk lacquer toner

Do you need to put a finish on it after using the lacquer toner ? I do you have pre-cat satin and semi gloss ? Sansui 7070 wood case.

You don't have to, but it generally looks better if you clear the whole cabinet after it is toned. Pre-cat is great stuff.

The toner is a gloss finish, so you need to spray it with clear if you are using a clear which is not a gloss finish.

thanks guys, I think the 70's stereo stuff will look good with the satin
