Hello once again what is the difference between grain filler, and wood filler? Trying to learn best process

Generally grain filler is extremely fine so it can pack in the wood's pores. Some general purpose wood fillers are fine enough to be used as a grain filler also. An important property of grain filler is the ability to accept stain, or be tinted (if you don't purchase it colored already). Nearly always you want the wood's grain to show slightly darker than the cabinet color.
