Hello
I understand that Mike no longer sells cloth; a shame as he had some nice designs not stocked by Antique Radio Grill Clothes. Does anyone know if someone else took over his stock and production?

thanks

Radio Fixer, et al...

Have you had a look at the offerings from Radio Daze?...Approximately 50 designs and many that are different from those of AES, Tempe...Illustrated on page 84 of the latest Radio Daze catalog.

http://www.radiodaze.com

No connection, but FWIW

Thanks for the lead to Radio Daze but your lead Terry, is Antique Radio Grill Cloths (ARGC). Have dealt with John over the years and he is very obliging. Radio Daze is less so in that they have a $25 min order for International. Not too much of a problem but what is, is that he doesn't do cloth samples for a few dollars (unless someone know different). Most of the cloths look the same as ARGC anyway

Michael Katz still had many cloths not shown by anyone else...shame he packed in.

ARGC and Radio Daze use the same numbering scheme for the cloths which I'm guessing means they use the same source for their cloths. Or, perhaps, ARGC is the bulk supplier to Radio Daze.

Hi Guys....

Mike Katz is very much alive and kicking with his selection of grill cloths. However,he's not doing it out of his house anymore. He basically takes all his samples to the big shows during the year.
However, the last time I talked to him, which was about 4 months ago, he was investing more time in his collection.

Thanks Jim

I still have his original sample pack and e-mail address. I may try that and see if I send him some dollars he might do me a post job. No chance of getting to the big shows alas!

Katz is open for business and has a website. Probably everybody knows this but I happened upon this thread and thought I would update it.

Hello Hagstar,
that is wonderful news and his prices are fair to and I can't wait to see what other patterns he comes up with in the near future.
Well Peter, thanks for adding the link !!

Sincerely Richard

Might be more effective advertising if that Zenith had the grill cloth installed properly.
