Hi, Wondering if this item would be of good use to anyone. Thinking primarily of
those new to old radios, that are not fully equipped. Seems to have a lot of functions
beyond tube testing. It would need some fresh common parts of course. A manual too.
I'll put it in the Ads if it can do someone good. A realistic asking price?
What say you Guys?

I like it.
I would give maybe $40-$50 for something like that. If you put it on ebay it might sell for as much as $200 in a bidding war, since it has tube tester functions, and those are "hot" right now.
Just my opinion.

It's very similar to this one that recently sold for $36.00 on ebay. Parts of the panel are identical. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Superior-Instruments-Model-1280-Vacuum-Tube-Tester-and-Multimeter-/390634334089?ViewItem=&ssPageName=ADME%3AX%3ARTQ%3AUS%3A1123&item=390634334089&nma=true&si=%252F6JGT9chDbfJuJxY1By7rgKKhMQ%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 (scroll to bottom of page).

I have one of these and can find ZERO information on it. Ziltch, zip, none......

This thread is the first picture of one I've seen besides mine. I have some basic tester functions, but no info on the tube tester portion of the unit.
