Hello everyone,
I purchased a Precision E410 C Sweep Generator, but I can't seem to find a manual for it, even after searching places like NostalgiaAir and BoatAnchor Manuals. I'm wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to find one.

Thanks!

I have an original, but a full scan will take several days for me to do.
I have better scans of the schematic (3.3 meg), but they are too big for posting here;
I can email to you, if you put your email address in your profile, or send it to me by PM.

If there are particular parts of the manual you need the most, maybe I can scan those first. Let me know.

If you find any already scanned manual source, let me know so I don't waste the effort.

Scans about half done, will take another day or so.

The Precision E410C manual is complete in one pdf and has been FTP'ed to BAMA Mirror.
It may take a while to be available for BAMA download at http://bama.edebris.com/manuals/ .

Did you get an acknowledgement from BAMA? There have been a couple of reports on this site about contributions never being put up or acknowledged.

It has only been 11 hours (overnight) since I emailed Ed at BAMA the notice of the upload;
we will wait a while before thinking anything has gone wrong.

Any response from BAMA so far?

I've had and used my 410C for several years. It's a good unit. I traced it out and drew up a schematic while I was refurbishing it. Then a couple of years later someone posted the schematic and it matched mine but I'd still like to have the complete manual to complete my files.

Years ago I made some contributions to BAMA and in each case "got it" responses came almost immediately. The posts were up in a couple more days.

No response, or new posting at BAMA, yet. (one week)

If you want the file by email, just pm me your email address.
Notice: this offer expires 1 August 2014. :mrgreen:

Please post if you ever hear from BAMA. I'm curious if new contributions are really being accepted or not.

I checked the "news" link on BAMA and nothing past 2012 was shown. It appears that things have been stalled out for a while.

HI:

IBELIEVE A WHILE BACK YOU HAD TO RECEIVE APPROVAL BEFORE UPLOADING ANY FILES.
ALSO HE WAS NO LONGER ACCEPTING ANY TEST EQUIPMENT FILES AS WELL AS PDF'S.
DJVU'S ARE MUCH SMALLER AND FASTER.
PDF CAN BE CONVERTED TO DJVU WITH A FREE CONVERTER.
YOU WILL NOTICE THAT A LOT HAVE THE DUAL OPTION.
DJVU ARE SIMPLE TO NAVIGATE WITH A LITTLE PRACTICE.

Actually it was when Bill Grimm ran the site that it was decided to not take any more test equipment. The site now just says uploads are being accepted. Also there was once a note on the site saying no more DjVu files and that all new ones would be PDF. I think this was also in the Grimm days. I going to send an email and see if new file are really being accepted.

I downloaded the Bama manual and found it had all sorts of duplicates and bad pages. I have corrected and organized the manual and am uploading it here for your use.
Rather than split all the 'dual' pages, I found it best to print the manual in small sections. The first two pages as normal, pages 3-24 (of the PDF) in poster mode with 1/2 page on each printed page, and the last as normal again. Turns out great!

Please enjoy!
