Does anyone have operating instructions for this unit? It has some very interesting and wierd settings. Such as DC-/2(DC- over 2) DC+ over a number 2 and ACV over a number 2. This looks like a quality meter but this has me stumped. Contacted Triplett but they no longer have anything. Thank you.
------------------
Larry,
Would those just be scale expanders? For instance, the DC+/2 would make 400 vdc (correct polarity) show up as 200 vdc, The DC-/2 would be reverse polarity divided by two, and the ACV/2 would be AC divided by 2.
------------------
Ken

That's a scale change switch. It's common on Triplett products. It doubles sensitivity at the expense of halving the Ohms per Volt specification.
You don't use it for resistance measurements.
