Does the digital display track the frequency on the lowest range? Manual only states that the YIG filter is used on the higher ranges--but it is not clear whether the tuning voltage controls the frequency display when the YIG filter is bypassed on the bottom range.

Made the interface cable for the 8445B to 141T. It also shows center tuned frequency on the 0-1500 MHz lowest range. This is a solution for 8555A RF heads that have failed dial drive belts--which are almost impossible to find parts for. Works for most ranges--except those requiring the external microwave mixers.
