Does anyone have any information on this company? I have an early oscillator built by them and there is a dearth of information regarding this company on the internet. I have searched for over a year with no success. Any input regarding this company is appreciated. Thank you.

Pat

Just found this Caliper and Angle measurement tools. What caught my eye was the case is stamped with:
"Compliments of Delta Radio Company, New York, NY" Reverse side says "G.G.B" which I assume are someone's initials.
Anyone know anything about it?

I imagine it is some advertising swag. Kind of cools as it is still useful to me. Mostly the caliper.

I have a few items like that. Giveaways. Even decades later they are still useful.

One is a metal caliper labeled Sprague Electric. And some other interesting ones.

Check American Radio History’s website. I see a “Edward M. Shiepe” from Delta Radio Company wrote a few articles for Radio World circa 1936. Radio Craft from November 1940 lists their address as 115 Worth Street, New York. I’m sure you’ll find more information.

edited to add 2nd ad.

Found this, might be related to your oscillator? Different address then what I saw earlier, so may/may not be the same company, but 2nd ad lists same guy mentioned above.

Above is in Radio Craft, March, 1935, page 575.

Then there was this in Radio World, April 1937, page 66:

Wow, this seven year old post has been resurrected. I'll have to dig through my "stuff" (all of which is still packed from the move) to see if I still have the gadget. I have a very large accumulation from the past forty+ years and it's in a very large pile in my new basement. I'm expecting it to be a few months before I get it sorted out and new benches constructed. I'll keep a copy of this post to refer to once I have the piles broken down.
Thank you for the replies.
