Reading the manual it states, "if a filament type tube is being tested, the meter will indicate full scale deflection when the switch is in the H-K position. (No indication indicates open filament)."
Does this mean that every tube tested should show full scale deflection at this setting? Mine does not, I imagine it shows H-K leakage? Is this correct?
I am testing 6L6GC tubes.
Doesn't make sense to me so thought I'd ask before I tear into this tester.

No, only filament type tubes. ie. Tubes where the filament acts as the cathode.
